Despite not making his International future known, Cristiano Ronaldo has gone all the way to appreciate the Portuguese Supporters all over the World and have refused talking about his future with Portuguese team, however he talk about something else.
Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked Portugal fans for their support at the World Cup, but is yet to confirm whether he will play on for his country.
Edison Cavani and his Uruguay teammates made it a difficult and tough night for the European champions last Saturday, as they were beaten by Uruguay 2-1 at the round of 16, which resulted in Ronaldo crashing out from the World cup.
However, in other hand Ronaldo’s direct rival Lionel Messi also crashed out as they were humbled by France on 4-3 as the two superstars were left fuming in what seems their last World cup appearance.
Notwithstanding, the Portuguese Coach Fernando Santos believes that the Real Madrid ace will not retire from the National team yet as he hopes Ronaldo to lead Portugal to European qualifier come September this year, and Ronaldo who refuses speaking about his future is believed to remain with the National team at least to cheer up the upcoming stars.
Instead, the 33-year-old Portuguese has praised all the Portuguese supporters who have gone all the way in cheering them up, he appreciated their effort through his Instagram handle.
Ronaldo wrote alongside the Portuguese flag, (Your support was and always will be fundamental to us. Thank you Portugal).
However, its yet to been seen if Ronaldo’s comment about his club future after their Champions League win over Liverpool last may in Kiev, will change as anticipated. Saying that he will seek leaving Madrid this summer.
