Manchester United have reportedly promised that they are prepared to make the Spanish David De Gea goalkeeper highest-paid goalkeeper in world of football. De Gea has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid for a number of years now and as it seems now a transfer won’t happen, it is said that Manchester United have reached a stage where they must make a decision on the Spaniard’s long-term future.

Reports has it that the Los Blancos has been in the market for other goalkeepers for months and according to news, United have reported reached out fresh terms with the 27-year-old. It also claim that De Gea will pocket  €21m (£18.41m) per year at Old Trafford, with the contract said to last until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

He has made a total of 315 appearances in all competitions for the past seven years at Old Trafford. The Spanish number one has one year remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford, although United have the option to extend that agreement for a further 12 months.

Another report has it that the David De Gea will sign a new contract at Manchester United to make him the world’s best paid goalkeeper in the world. He will sign a new five-year deal worth a reported €21m a year, making him the highest paid goalkeeper in football.

It has been revealed that the European champions Real Madrid will now turn their attention to Brazilian Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker this summer.
