AC Milan have reportedly joined Premier League club’s Bournemouth and West Ham in the chase for Chelsea’ Reuben Loftus-Cheek as the Italian tries to bolster its midfield ranks in January.

The 22yr old Three Lions midfielder has only featured seven times for the Blues in the current Premier League season, and is believed to be considering a move away from the London club as he hopes to get more playing time crucial for his career development.

Media outlet The Sun has it that the player seems unlikely to break into Chelsea starting lineup under Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri. This is believed to be due to the overbearing duopoly between Matteo Kovacic and Ross Barkley.

AC Milan who are believed to be monitoring the player’s condition at Chelsea is ready to bring him to the San Siro to unite with another Chelsea teammate Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is on loan from Chelsea.

Despite the Rossoneri interest, Bournemouth and West Ham are believed to have an upper hand in the race. This is believed to be due to their English heritage and origin as it will provided the Chelsea man easier terrain to adapt to.

Loftus-Cheek has played 13 competitive games for Chelsea so far this season and has scored six goals despite not playing as a forward

Meanwhile AC Milan also considers Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabreagas too.
