Nigerian International Ahmed Musa, have reportedly joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassar from Leicester city. The Nigerian international who was speculated with a switch to English club Brighton & Hoves earlier in the summer, have reportedly taken his football adventure outside the European continent. The Nigerian according to reports, was backed to remain with the club after the departure of playmaker Riyadh Mahrez to Manchester city.
Musa was the record signing for the Foxes when he arrived liberty stadium from Cska Moscow back in 2016, but the Super eagle’s attacker have failed to cement his place with the London based club and was dropped the bench. The Nigeria footballer was loaned back to Cska Moscow, as he lacked game time while with the foxes.
The Nigerian international scored 6 times in his 10 appearances for the Moscow based club, 3 times in his 21 Premier League appearance for Leicester football club. He scored twice at the Russia 2018 world football competition, with both goals coming against Iceland in Nigeria’s second match of the group stage.
According to Al Nassar, the footballer signed a four-year agreement but the transfer fee was not included in the news. It will be interesting to see whether the 25yr old attacker will retain his place with the Nigerian team.
