Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a bid for Barcelona’s midfielder Rafinha, according to reports from Spain.
The 24 year old has been restricted to limited appearances due to injuries over the past couple of seasons, and has barely featured this term for the Blaugrana, hence is below the likes of Coutinho,Rakitic and Paulinho in the pecking order.
The Spaniard is recently been linked with an exit from the Camp Nou, with a host of European clubs ready to prize the midfielder away from the Catalan side.
Spanish outlet,The Balon claims Arsenal are among them and are now ready to lodge a bid for the midfielder.
The Gunners are looking to add to their midfield options.Francis Conquelin is all set to complete a switch to Valencia in a £10m move, while Mezut ozil’s reluctance to sign a new deal has seen the German been linked with a switch to rivals Manchester United.
According to the reports, Rafinha is seen by Arsenal, as a like for like replacement for Mesut Ozil. The reports also claim the midfielder is eager to move abroad, and follow his elder brother (Thiago) footsteps in leaving for greener pastures.
Arsenal though face a battle to secure Rafinha’s signature, with Inter Milan,Celta Vigo and Ac Milan also keen on the midfielder.
