Bakayoko who arrived Chelsea from Monaco could be on his way to Ac Milan as deadline approaches. The Frenchman arrived the bridge from the 2016/2017 ligue 1 champions for a reported £40 Million last summer, failed to live up to expectation under Antonio Conte last season.
Recent reports indicate that things are likely not to get better for the Frenchman under new boss Sarri. Italian football expert David Amoyal discussed the situation and Milan’s interest in his latest episode of Cacioland Podcast.
He said: “All indications are the midfield is where they (Milan) want to look to next. “Di Marzio has linked them with Bakayoko, coming off a very disappointing season. “I don’t see Milan being able to afford him because Chelsea paid a lot for him.
Producer of the podcast, Chelsea fan Alex Goldberg, echoed Amoyal’s view.
He added: “In Sarri’s system, Bakayoko is a no-go”. “He’s just too clumsy of a midfielder. Not at all a Sarri-esque midfielder”. “Sometimes when there’s a managerial change it benefits players, but it also hinders players and Bakayoko definitely falls into the latter. “AC Milan – you can have him. On loan, right out buy. Whatever you want”.
