Report has it that Chelsea have reportedly begun negotiations with N’Golo Kante over a new contract believed to be around £200,000 a week for him to remain at Stamford Bridge.

The France International still have three years remaining on his current deal, but the Blues are keen to award him an improved deal in a bid to block another club interest in order to secure his long-term future.

The 27-year-old midfielder has shown his talents and have become an integral member of Chelsea following his move from Leicester City in a deal worth £32 million in the summer of 2016 and have went on winning the Premier League and also the PFA player of the year in his debut season with the Blues. With his form so impressive last term despite Chelsea not making the Champions League spot, the Blues wants to make him one of the best Chelsea earners to keep him for a very long time.
