The report also have it that the Stamford Bridge club have reportedly agreed a total fee said to be in the region of €60million for the prolific striker.

The South American superstar has shone in all through his career with the likes Real Madrid, Napoli and now Juventus, where he has netted many goals.

Gonzalo Higuain has been identified by Chelsea’s Potential manager to help strengthen the Blues attack. Despite his poor international outing with Argentina, he is indeed so prolific in front of goal.

Meanwhile, Alvaro Morata has failed to replicate the scoring form why he was signed to replace Diego Costa, who was sold to Atletico Madrid last season.

Higuain is seen as someone who can lead the Chelsea front line with the pattern needed of a proven goal scorer, although Olivier Giroud was brought in during the winter transfer as a backup option.

The Argentine striker has a total club career goal of 282, has netted 31 times for his National team, and has 55 goals in his two years in Turin, this shows how clinical Higuain is in front of goal.

If all goes as planned, then the Blues supporters will hope for improvement after a disappointing season that saw them finish 5th in the Premier League and failed to qualify for Champions League twice in three seasons.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to replace his compatriot Antonio Conte next week and has told Chelsea board of his desire to sign the 30-year-old Juventus striker.
