The Portuguese superstar will have to wait a little bit longer before his anticipated debut for the Italian Champions comes as he just participated at the World Cup in Russia with Portugal and as reported having his holiday.
According to news, it was thought that Juventus fans will be able to see the five-time Ballon D’Or winner kick his first ball for the Turin giants against his former club in a pre-season match, but the news says he will have to wait.
The Portuguese ace completed a surprised club record transfer to Juventus from Real Madrid in a total of £99.2m and is expected to be in Turin by the weekend.
The Serie A Champions will have their pre-season in the USA where they will meet Benfica, Bayern Munich, MLS All Stars and Ronaldo’s former home Real Madrid on 5th August. As the old Lady gear up for upcoming European Champions League which has been their dream.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, that the game between the two sides will come so early for Cristiano Ronaldo to feature as he will be back for pre-season on the 30th of July.
Ronaldo is however, expected to play his first competitive game for Juventus on the 19th August , which is the day for Serie A season opener.
All eyes will be on the player who has conquered England, Spain and now in Italy to show his worth and what many believed to be a merry go round for the five time Ballon D’Or winner.
