Chelsea host league leaders Manchester City on Saturday in the English Premier League, in a period when the Blues are struggling for consistency.
The London club was the last unbeaten club on the European continent until local rivals Tottenham hotspur ending the fine run of form. The club since then has lost again to Wolves to be ten points behind league leaders Manchester city.
Eden Hazard who was on form at the beginning of the season, but has not scored a goal since returning from back injury early October has come out to make a statement ahead of the fixture. The Belgian believes that city boss Pep Guardiola will make use of his quality in his current setup.
He said: “I think City find more solutions in their play than we do.
“The only thing they don’t have is Eden Hazard! That is the difference.”
Eden Hazard has been the key performer at Chelsea since his switch from Ligue 1 side Lille 6 years ago, but the Belgian attacker has hinted that he is becoming tired of being the key contributor.
He added: “Chelsea have plenty of possession, but we often have to rely on individual actions to score goals.
“City are all about team play. You can see a lot of movement from them that creates spaces.
“They get their crosses in and they create more chances, score more goals and have more answers.”
Eden Hazard remains on the radar of Spanish side Real Madrid.
