Chelsea seems set for a new era under Manager Maurizio Sarri. The Italian recently replaced another Italian Antonio Conte in the summer.

The Blues under Antonio Conte last season missed out of the Champions league positions after a difficult campaign.

Antonio Conte was finally axed despite leading the club to an FA cup triumph over Manchester united at Wembley in the same season.

Sarri’s arrival have coincided with a lot of arrivals to the bridge with Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa, Napoli midfielder Jorginho, Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic and former English goalkeeper Rob Green. The Club have also lost Thaibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

Despite their exploits in the previous transfer window, the club have been tipped not to finish in top four by media analyst Michael Owen. The Liverpool legend in his interview with Betvictor said, “I don’t see the Blues making a return to Champions league via the Premier league this season”.

The London manage to keep hold of their key performance despite speculations. The club managed to convince Brazilian attacker Willian and Belgian Eden Hazard despite heavy interest from Spanish clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The club kicks-off their Premier league campaign with a game against Huddersfield town this weekend as they hope to prove critics wrongs.
