According to The Telegraph, Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing the strikers to offer competition and backup to Romelu Lukaku, who is struggling to keep up the standards he set at the beginning of the season. Manager, Jose Mournho has told the United board that he needs more players to add quality to our team, as we look to compete for the title, with Manchester City already looking like runaway leaders.
Sanchez has been looking at joining Manchester City, but a new report emerged yesterday that United are willing to hijack the deal for the Arsenal forward. United are willing to pay up to £25m for his signature as well as add Mhkitaryan in a player plus cash deal. Former United striker, Javier Hernandez, who currently plays for West Ham is also on our radar as he will offer something different to what Lukaku offers.
Too many a time, United have been profligate in front of goal but Hernandez is known as one of the best predatory strikers in world football. Mournho has always maintained the fact that he wouldn’t have allowed the player leave Old Trafford in the first place.
Jamie Vardy will be the most expensive of the trio if we sign him as he is tied to Leicester for a long term.
The 30 year old is extremely fast, can shoot with both feet and constitute a nuisance to opposition teams all day long. While the prospect of signing all three is another matter, the fact that we are looking at attacking reinforcements in a bid to kill off matches and rack up the points.
