The Frenchman is hoping to take advantage of the Morata’s dip in form, to convince Sarri of his credentials. The Spaniard has scored only once, despite featuring in the club’s opening three game.
The Blues began the season on a high with 3 consecutive league victories, and Ceasar Azpilicueta believes that the Blues currently are ready to compete for trophies despite turbulent summer.
Chelsea defender Azpilicueta said: “It’s important. The players have not had much time after the World Cup, new manager and we’re working really hard as a team. “There’s still room for improvement and I’m sure we can still work on that.”
