Hudson-Odoi seems to have impressed the Chelsea management with his brief strings of performance and displays. The youngster who rose through the ranks of Chelsea youth academy, made four first-team appearance for the London club in the 2017/2018 football season.

The arrival of Maurizio Sarri also availed the youngster a chance to feature in the club’s pre-season games, and the 18yr old was able to catch the eye of the Italian trainer who has rewarded him in the current football season.

Despite the huge competition current in the Chelsea team, Odoi has feature three times for the Chelsea team in the current season, with two of the games coming in the Europa league.

The Sun reports that Chelsea wants the teenager wants to commits his future to the club on long term basis before leaving loan in January, the negotiation seems to be making no headway.

Hudson-Odoi’s current contract with the Stamford Bridge club runs till 2020 which could see the player depart as a free agent if no deal within the time duration.
