Jose Mourinho sent a message to sports pundit Garry Neville after the 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Neville has been a huge critic of Jose Mourinho in the current season as the Red Devils legend has expressed his disgust the clubs style of play under the Portuguese tactician. But the performance against Arsenal on Wednesday night was superb as the Portuguese manager heaped praise on his team.

Mourinho had defensive issues with Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Antonio Valencia all injured. Suspension also kept Ashley Young out of the side. But it was Dalot who rose to the challenge to show he could be relied on.

“Gary Neville must be thinking now Manchester United has a very good right-back for ten years,” Mourinho told the BBC.

“There was big soul by the players, fantastic attitude from the first minute.

“We should win the game. We made two big mistakes for the goals.

“The second goal comes in an awful moment when the team was on top of the game.”

“We drew 2-2, but we scored four goals, and even when we play well we always shoot ourselves.

“Reality is, in last four matches we didn’t lose. Bad results yes, but we didn’t lose.”
