The Red Devils have been heavily involved in the current transfer window, but yet to make a significant progress as all their dream transfer not manifesting. The Manchester club which hopes to compete for the league this season is yet to attract potential players, for the ambitions as their previous bids for the likes of Willian, Perisic, Rebic, Maguire and Bale have all stalled.
Manchester united have already acquired Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant, but remains deficient compared to rivals Manchester city and Liverpool. The club is believed to be weak in defense and attack as the lack high profile player marshal such positions.
With few days remaining for the current window to close, it remains to be seen whether there will be any arrival to the theatre of dreams.
However Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Seth believes that the Manchester club will land two players before the expiration day. Seth in his talk on Sky Sports transfer talk Podcast said: “They were [looking to sign a left-back] earlier in the window but I don’t think they are as much now. “Centre-half and right winger is the focus. They already have [Ashley] Young and [Luke] Shaw there.”
Manchester united finished 19 points adrift title winners Manchester city in the Premier league last season. The Manchester club also lost to Chelsea in the FA cup finals at Wembley last season. The Manchester club will begins its Premier league campaign with a game against Leicester city on Friday night.
