Manchester United continues to dominate the transfer market news in recent time as the club seeks solution to salvage their miserable season. The club have been linked with a host of names, but recent reports indicates that the Red Devils are launching bid for the Leicester’s defender.

The Manchester club made series of attempt last summer to lure the three lions defender to the theatre of dreams last season as both managerial officers of the two club ensured the deal did not materialized.

Leicester City’s hierarchy insisted that the Red Devils provide £65 million pounds, while Manchester United chairman Ed Woodward, single handedly vetoed Jose Mourinho’s request to sign a defender and this was due to the rift between the Portuguese tactician and Club’s Vice Chairman

However, with the mending of crises between the Red Devil’s manager and the Club’s Vice Chairman, the Manchester club are now ready to solve their player problems, particularly at the back.

According to the Sun, the Old Tafford based club are willing to splash £60 million to Harry Maguire when the winter window opens in January.

Harry Maguire penned down a five year deal with the Foxes back in September, but Manchester United could still land the defender.
