Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus from reigning UEFA Champions Real Madrid last summer, in a deal valued at £88 million. The 33yr old spent 9 years at the Spanish capital with four UEFA Champions league trophies among a host of individual accolades.

However, since joining the Old Lady, it has not been rosy for the Portuguese playmaker. Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to score for the Old Lady despite featuring three times in the current league season, somewhat putting a huge question mark to his huge transfer.

Juventus have still won their league games despite Ronaldo not scoring though in unconvincing manner as in the games against Parma and Chievo Verona.

Italy manager Mancini however, has laid explanations to why the Portuguese playmaker is yet to reciprocate his Real Madrid form at the Turin based club.

“There are times when things just do not happen, I do not think Cristiano has a problem getting back to the goals. “It’s a difficult moment, but it’s normal for an attacker, too. “In Italy, the opposition always defend in their own midfield and Cristiano Ronaldo cannot find all the spaces he had in Spain. “In La Liga they play another kind of football.”
