Maurizio Sarri host visiting Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the second league of the 2018/2019 Premier league season. This is also the first home game of the Italian coach after recording a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield last week.

Michael Owen have given his opnion ahead of the game. The Former Manchester United and Liverpool legend in his interview with the Betvictor said: “A good professional performance from Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea at Huddersfield on the opening day although it was difficult to get too excited about Arsenal who were easily brushed aside – as Chelsea were in the Community Shield a week earlier – by champions Manchester City at the Emirates”. “Unai Emery would have hoped for an easier introduction to life in the Premier League than City at home and Chelsea away, and they will take heart from the fact that Chelsea failed to beat Arsenal in five games (Community Shield, Premier League x 2 & League Cup x 2) last season”. “That said I expect Chelsea to build on their convincing win in Yorkshire and keep the points in Sarri’s first home game in charge of the Blues.”

Maurizio Sarri will be hoping to start his first home game for the Blues with a win. Chelsea never won Arsenal last season despite meeting five times. Unai Emery on the other hand will be hoping for a positive result after been humbled 2-0 last week by reigning Champions Manchester City.
