Mourinho’s job at Manchester United seems to be uncertain with the club struggling to live up to expectation. The Portuguese survived an axing last weekend after Manchester United came from two goal down to defeat Newcastle 3-2.

While the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager seems to be feeling the heat, he has been reported to have taken up a pseudo scouting role, as he was spotted in the crowd on Thursday night as Serbia defeated Montenegro 2-0 in Podgorica.

According to the Sun, Jose Mourinho personally made the scouting trip to rule over Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, a player which have been in the Red Devils’ radar for over a year. Manchester United have been linked with a lot of midfield opition with Bruno Neves and Aaron Ramsey but the Mourinho might be placing faith on the Serbian midfielder.

Milinkovic-Savic put up a dominant display in the game and even netted in the affair to ensure the home team coasted to a routine victory. Meanwhile, the Manchester United tactician watched from the stands with his cap pulled down over his face.

According to report, the Lazio midfielder is not the only player that was on Mourinho’s wishlist on the night as Fiorentina’s 20yr old Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic.
