Chelsea recovered from early scare to dump Cardiff City 4-1 at the Bridge on Saturday. Eden Hazard bagged a hat-trick while Brazilian sensation Willian grabbed a goal to ensure that Chelsea extend their 100 percent league victory to five consecutive game in the current league season.
While Eden Hazard and Willian grab the spotlight for the goals scored in the encounter, Olivier Giroud still justified his start for the club despite not netting in the encounter. The French international following a successful outing with the National team in the European League of Nations was handed a start by Maurizio Sarri. This was his first start of the new league as the World Cup winner have largely played a backup role for Spaniard Alvaro Morata.
