Fred has been adjusting to life at the theatre of dreams, since his summer arrival. The Brazil defensive midfielder joined Manchester united from Shaktar Donetsk earlier in the summer, as Jose Mourinho looked to strengthen his squad for trophy challenge in the current football season. The Portuguese tactician however believes that the former Shaktar player has made impact since his arrival to the club.

Fred since his arrival has been impressive in two of the club’s league games, though he was unable to prevent the 3-2 defeat to Brighton last time out.

Old Trafford faithful’s are hoping to see the Brazilian midfielder establish himself as a key player in the coming weeks and months. Mourinho seems to share the same optimistic stance with the club supporters towards the player.

Mourinho in an interview with the club’s official TV said: “I think people already like him. “People can already feel his positive influence on the team and on the style of football that the team wants to play. “When we brought him here, we knew he could influence the dynamic because he could attract other people to follow him in the way he thinks football and the way he likes to play football.”

Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night and the Brazilian midfielder will be expected to contribute his own quota for the team to come out victorious in the game. The club is yet to lift the Premier league since 2013.
