Brighton & Hove Albion 0:4 Chelsea:
Chelsea finally recorded their first win of the 2018 year as the put four past Brighton. The Blues started very brightly in the game and got two goals within 7 minutes of play with goals from Eden Hazard and Willian. Brighton will have felt bad having been denied two penalty appeals before the interval. Hazard got his brace in the second half why Victor Moses got his goal late on thanks to an exquisite long pass from Charie Musonda to wrap up a perfect afternoon for the blues and lift pressure off Conte.
Arsenal 4:1 Crystal Palace:
Arsenal started their first game of the Post-Sanchez era against Crystal palace team and the Gunners looked unfazed by the departure of the Chilean as the trashed Crystal Palace side with 22 minutes of the game. Prior to the game Wenger have confirmed that the club won’t miss the Chilean attacker, and this was what happened on Saturday as goals from Monreal, Iwobi, Koscielny and Lacazette was enough to seal the game early.
Burnley 0:1 Manchester United:
Man United to continue their title chase in the league with a narrow win at Turf-more Park which was scored by Martial. Turf-more Park have been a relatively difficult place to grind out result in the league and it took an Anthony Martials brilliance in the second half after a difficult first half for the red devils. The win still kept united in second place still trailing 12 points to league leaders.
Stoke City 2:0 Hudderfield:
Stoke city boss Paul Lambert began his managerial era at the Britannia stadium with a victory over Hudderfield thanks to goals from Joe Allen and Diuof. The win lifted the Potters out of the bottom 3.
Leicester city 2:0 Watford:
Leicester city extended their League performance at Chelsea to Watford with the foxes ripping Watford apart in the encounter. Jamie Vardy put Leicester in the lead from the penalty spot which he won. Riyad Mahrez sealed the victory Foxes.
Everton 1:1 West Bromwich Albion:
Everton boasted by the arrival of Theo Walcott where unable to take all 3 points from Goodison Park against the Baggies as the two teams shared the spoils in the game. The reverse of the encounter during Boxing Day of 2017 also ended in a draw.
West-Ham 1:1 Bournemouth:
West ham and Bournemouth where not able to play a repeat of the thrilling 3-3 draw of Boxing day of 2017 but both settled for draw in the game.

City continued to push on for the title after their last week defeat at Anfield as a Hattrick from Sergio Aguero was enough to grab all three points from Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle as the Magpies poor run of form against city continued.
Southampton 1:1 Tottenham Hotspur:
Spurs missed a chance to level on points with fourth place Liverpool as the London side where held to a draw on the road. The result leaves the Saints in relegation as their woes continues.
Swansea 1:0 Liverpool:
Liverpool went to Liberty stadium with the intention of extending their superb run of form in the league but were stunned by the Swans taking all 3 points. The result leaves the Reds within reach of Spurs and arsenal.
