The Pressure will be on Mourinho, when Manchester united visits Burnley on Sunday in a bid to avert a third consecutive league defeat following their poor start of the Premier league season.

The Red Devils lost to Brighton 3-2 in their second league game of the season before being hammered 3-0 by visiting Spurs last Monday to heap pressure on manager Jose Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho’s fiery post-match statement raised huge reaction and disgust from the media with his job been under scrutiny but reports have it that the club’s hierarchy is not considering a managerial shift.

A loss at Turf-More for Manchester United could see the role of Portuguese tactician questioned.

Burnley under the other have been feeling the heat since their emergence in the European stages. The Clarets are yet to win a single league game in their opening three matches with the Europa league qualification straining their relatively small squad.

Despite Mourinho’s frailties, a Manchester unted player have given his statement ahead of Turf-more visit. Spanish midfielder Andrea Herrera believes that only the right tactical approach would ensure the Red Devils grab all three points. “We did a good 60 or 70 minutes [against Spurs] and should have been winning 2-0 at halftime, but we didn’t”. “If we want to win the next game against Burnley, this is the commitment we should have. The basics have been shown. This is the way we have to play if we want to win against Burnley,” he said. “We have quality, a very big squad. We made six changes and for the first 70 minutes, we were good. It’s easy to turn things around,” Herrera said.

It will be interesting to see who makes the cut for the Manchester club on Sunday as Jose Mourinho is likely to use his hammer in match day selection.
