Garry Neville monitoring the recent surge of form from the English forward, has backed the player to blossom into something big.

“Rashford playing up front is fantastic – I love him to bits,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“He’s played nearly 150 games at the age of 21 and his potential is enormous. It’s actually now stepping up beyond potential to where he will be a top-class player. He gives them mobility.

“They needed more energy up front. Romelu Lukaku hasn’t been at his best this season. Rashford has earned his chance up top. He gives them something different and he’s a fantastic player.

“He’s on the right trajectory to become something special for Manchester United.”
