Spanish club Real Madrid have reported joined in the race to land French midfielder N’Golo Kante from Chelsea. The reigning European Champions are of the view that the former Leicester City midfielder holds the key to club woes.

The Los Blancos have struggled in the current season with the side yet to win in five consecutive games, and are set to spend heavy in the coming winter window to rescue their miserable season.

The Sun reports that N’Golo Kante is in the wish list of Real Madrid, with the Spanish side ready to launch an £80 million pounds bid to test Chelsea’s resolve.

Kante joined the London side on the back of a successful season which saw his former employers Leicester City lift the premier league trophy. The player played a crucial role in that season. Kante since joining Chelsea has enjoyed a successful term at Chelsea with the player lifting the Premier League and the FA Cup. The 2018 World cup winner has also been a regular fixture for the blues since his arrival.

Kante’s exploits is reported to have also caught the eyes of Juventus and Paris Saint Germain, who have him on their radar.

Despite having three years left in his Chelsea contract and stressing that he is happy at the London Club, Kante could consider Real Madrid if an offer was made.
