Ronaldo will visit former club Manchester United in November in the UEFA Champion’s league group stage after UEFA confirmed that he will be handed a game ban on Thursday.

The Portuguese tactician was sent off in the first interval of Juve’s 2-0 win over Spanish side Valencia last week, after a collision with central defender Jeison Murillo. Speculations after the game emerged that the Portuguese playmaker could potentially miss the two affairs of the Manchester United games, but reports from Thursday have shown that the 33yr old will sit out his team’s home game against Swiss team Young Boys next week.

Juventus will then play Jose Mourinho’s at Old Trafford on Tuesday, October 23, before the reverse fixture is being played at Turin on November 7 in Group H. Ronaldo who has lifted the European trophy five times, first won the competition, and first won the competition with Manchester in 2008 before leaving for Real Madrid in the summer of 2009.
