Juventus Forward Cristiano Ronaldo has dropped hint on the possible endpoint of his current rape allegation involving US model Kathryn Mayorga.

The Juventus star, who was alleged to have raped the US model back in 2009, expects to be cleared of all charges in the 2019 year.

Ronaldo has repeatedly denied the allegation and expects a permanent solution in the coming months.

“It hurt me to see my family upset about the news, but they know I would never be able to do that,” he told Portuguese newspaper Record.

“I was completely calm and very confident that soon everything will be clear.”

Ronaldo ended his nine years’ time with Real Madrid last summer by joining Seria A side Juventus. The Portuguese since his arrival has adapted well to life at the Turin, as he has helped the Old Lady remain unbeaten in the Italian topflight division as well as a round 16 progression in the UEFA Champions League.

“The Santiago Bernabeu has also been my home for many years and will always be a very special stadium for me.

“I do not hide that I have and I will always have a great affection for that club and those fans. We live together unforgettable moments and it does not go away.

“I will return with great pleasure to that stadium and I expect to be well received.”
