Argentine international Paulo Dybala has dropped his opinion on the possibility of Juventus to win the UEFA Champions league with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese tactician who joined the club last summer from Real Madrid seems to be making headway in term at with the Old Lady.
Ronaldo and Dybala has combined to produce 15 goals and seven assist in the current season. Despite his young age, Paulo Dybala has enjoy successful trophy spell in his career, but is eager to grab the greatest prize in European club football.
“Of course with the arrival of Cristiano it is a test to everyone, because of what he signifies and everything that he has achieved,” the 24-year-old at the launch of the adidas COPA boot, of which he is an ambassador.
“I believe in previous years we have proven that we are capable to win the Champions League, but we have had a bit of bad luck too, especially for what happened last year against Madrid. Also, I think getting to the quarter-finals in the previous four years, we haven’t had the luck of winning the competition, but hopefully we do this season.
“Since Cristiano has arrived, we have always tried to work together and tried to be comfortable with one another. I think we have been doing it well. We have scored really important goals for Juventus together, but I think the whole team is important and I think we all have to know each other well. Cristiano arrived only recently, but we all know the importance that he has on everyone and we knew his style from before. We know how he plays and how he works.”
Meanwhile while discussing about his new Adidas boot, Dybala said: “I had the opportunity with my first match with the COPA and really it was an incredible feeling, because it was the first time I wore them in a match and it was a boot that I felt like I had worn a lot, because of the comfort for touch it had, because of how I felt it on the foot. It was a new experience and incredible because it felt like I had always worn it before.”
Dybala will test run his boot when his national team Argentina take on Mexico in the international friendly.
