The Chilean attacker had been on the receiving end of critics since his arrival back in January, but the former Arsenal and Barcelona attacker made his introduction into the game count with a late winner.
Manchester were two goals down within the first 10 minutes as Eric Bailey was caught out of position. The Chilean introduction in the second interval became the catalytic spark to a comeback.
Sanchez jumped highest to head an Ashley Young’s cross into the bottom corner, leaving some supporters to believing that this could be the turnaround in his Manchester United career.

Sanchez had the first summer holiday in a while in his football career as Chile missed out of the World cup. The player also impressed in the pre-season games as he displayed his quality on countless of occasion.
Despite an impressive pre-season, the Chilean failed to extend his form when the football season kicked off and was eventually replaced with Anthony Martial who was also in score-sheet against Newcastle. The Chilean could now look forward to fighting for his place when the international break ends.
