Chelsea trainer Maurizio Sarri has stated that there is still room for Eden Hazard to improve. Eden Hazard has been the chief performer of the club since the arrival of the Italian tactician in the summer, with the Belgian currently leading the club and league goal chart in the current season with seven.
The Belgian’s master-class against Liverpool in the Carabao cup has proved the level of form he is enjoying with the Blues and how he could be crucial in the club’s title aspirations.
However, despite the superb form of the Belgian, Sarri believes that Hazard will need to up his game to deliver more for the club.
Sarri in his post-match interview with the media following draw with Liverpool on Saturday, said: : “I think he can do more in terms of continuity and intensity, not only physical intensity but also mental, so I have to try to improve him because my feeling is that he can improve more,’ he said.
“I want to try to give him the chance to reach 100 per cent because my feeling is that right now he’s only at 80 per cent, I want to help him be the best player in the world.”
Chelsea turn their attention to the continental game against Videoton on Thursday in the Europa League. The Blues are aiming to breaking into the top four following last season’s disastrous finish in the fifth position. The Blues remains unbeaten in the current football season.
