A two-man advance party of the Nigeria football federation, led by the Director of Competitions, Mr Ayobala Oyeyode, set to leave for the capital city of Seychelles this weekend for next week’s 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying round of matches.

The advance party has been mandated to engage with the officials of the Seychelles Football Federation on all matter of logistics regarding the accommodation and hospitality of the Super Eagles ahead of the match.

Official in the interview with thenff.com stated that accommodation, feeding, local transportation, training pitch and security would be addressed. The team will also access the match venue and gate fee details before disseminating information to the Nigerian technical crew.

Nigerian based members of the Super Eagles’ technical crew and the backroom staff will leave the country by Sunday, to prepare for the players expected to arrive on Monday. Shot-stopper Ikechukwu Ezenwa will depart with the crew from Abuja.

The Seychelles Football Federation has already scheduled the Group E, Matchday 2 game to hold at the Stade Linite in Victoria, which is capital and also within the island of Mahe, one of the main islands in the 115 islands of Seychelles. The Match start by 4.30pm Seychelles time (1.30pm Nigeria time) on Saturday, 8th September.
