Changchun Yatai finished 15th in the 16 team Chinese Super League in the 2017/2018 season and were relegated alongside Guizhou Zhicheng after match day 30.

Ighalo finished the Chinese Super League campaign as the second highest goal scorer with 21 goals in 28 league appearances behind Chinese star Wu Lei of Shanghai SIPG who scored 27 goals in 29 appearances.

Though Galatasaray lost 3-2 at home to FC Porto in their last group game of the UEFA Champions League, footballlive.ng can report that Onyekuru and his pals snuck through, as Idowu’s side fell 1-0 away to Schalke 04.

Onyekuru was a second-half substitute in Tuesday night’s game, as the Turkish Super Lig champions fell at home in their last Group D match, but Idowu benched for all 90 minutes by Lokomotiv. Onyekuru got off the bench in the 46th minute in place of Rony Donk, but his efforts fell short, as goals by Felipe, Moussa Marega and Sergio Oliveira were enough to send Porto into the next stage of elite contest.

Shoretire made history when he came on to replace Nishan Burkart for the final 15 minutes as Manchester United faced Valencia in the UEFA Youth League. The English side ended up winning the game 2-1.
