Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr has charged his team to remain focus ahead of the big clash against South Africa on November 17 at the Johannesburg’s Soccer City.

The three-time Africa champions defeated Libya 3-2 in Sfax, Tunisia on Tuesday night in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, to move top of Group E with nine points.

Super Eagles fans have blasted Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi after he picked up a yellow card in Nigeria’s 3-2 win over Libya in Sfax on Tuesday evening, a booking that will see him miss next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
Ndidi was one of the four Super Eagles players a booking away from an automatic one-game ban, and it was thought he had escaped a suspension only for him to be booked by referee Joshua Bondo following an altercation with a Libyan player in the 90th minute.

Two clubs Chelsea and Leicester City monitored the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Libya and Nigeria in Sfax on Tuesday evening as some of their players were involved in international action ahead of the resumption of the Premier League.
The Super Eagles beat the Mediterranean Knights 3-2 with ex-Watford star Odion Ighalo opening and rounding off the scoring.

5. Ndidi ruled out of Eagles crunch tie with Bafana Bafana

Ndidi picked up a booking in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya in Sfax last night, which Nigeria won 3-2.
