1. Libya To Hit Uyo On Friday For Super Eagles Clash

Libya will arrive Uyo on Friday for their 2019 Africa Cup Nations qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria billed for this Saturday at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The Libya players and their officials, CSN learnt, will fly straight to Uyo from Tripoli for the Group E clash with the Super Eagles.

2. Rohr Starts Closed Training On Thursday

Foootballlive.ng gathered that Rohr informed officials at Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) of his training schedule for Saturday’s first leg of a double-fixture between the Eagles and Libya.

Consequently, the NFF on Monday disclosed that expectant soccer fans would be allowed to watch the Eagles’ training for only two days during their preparations for Saturday’s first leg against Libya.

4. Iheanacho In Flight Hitch, Etebo Lands Tuesday

England-based duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Oghenekaro Etebo missed Monday arrival scheduled at the Super Eagles’ camp in Uyo, as flight issues put both their plans on hold.

5. Ezenwa Takes Injury To National Team Camp

Ezenwa was forced out of his side’s 4-2 defeat in Gombe, as he was replaced towards the end of the first half of the encounter, thereby raising doubts over his ability to train with the national team.

Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr may now have to consider a late call up, after Ezenwa bowed out on Sunday against Kano Pillars at Pantami Stadium in Gombe.
