The Nigeria international entered the final twelve months of his contract with the Israeli champions in July 2018 and he has given a clue on his preferred destination, if he has his way.
4. Okala Sees Bright Future for Rangers

Former Green Eagles goalkeeper and member of the great Enugu Rangers side that won the FA Cup competition three times in the mid-1970s, Emmanuel Okala, says the team’s performance against Kano Pillars in Wednesday’s Aiteo Cup final in Asaba was a sign of many good things to come.

Okala kept goal for Rangers from the mid-70s when they won the National Challenge Cup for an unprecedented three years in a row (1975-1977). In all, Rangers have won the FA Cup six times, and Okala played a part on five occasions. He won it four times as a goalkeeper and once as Team Manager/Goalkeeper Trainer.

Coach Gernot Rohr reckons that the Super Eagles lost to South Africa in their first match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers because the opponents were deadly from counter-attacks and also rued the absence of some of the key players in his squad.
Captain Obi Mikel, Leon Balogun, Odion Ighalo and Victor Moses were not involved at the Akwa Ibom Stadium last year and all the players are set to be invited for next month’s reverse fixture, with the exception of the Chelsea winger who has called time on his international career.
