The Injury crises suffered by AC Milan in the current football season has forced the Seria A outifit into the transfer market, and are projected to be active when the January window kicks off. Club directors Leonardo and Maldini have already swing into action in a bid to land 2-3 players by the end of the January transfer window.

Calcio Mercato reports that the Rossoneri have approached Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas over the possibility of a deal. The Spaniard whose contract with Chelsea will expire by the summer of 2019, is yet to be offered a new deal and could potentially leave as a free agent. Paredes and Lobotka are other options but it seems like Fabregas could be the easier move to pull off at the moment. Fabregas seems to be a fringe player at Chelsea at the moment, with summer arrival Jorginho reducing him to bit-part role.

Milan are keen about their interest on Fabregas, but the Seria A club also considers the financial implication of such transaction. The club is going to see how it will reduce the huge wages of the Spaniard. Even so, the Rossoneri have their eyes on the Spaniard as a move doesn’t seem impossible anymore…
