Jose Mourinho, who is currently feeling the heat in recent times following a poor run of form which has kept the Manchester side far from top four finish and the title race, has revealed that he is unlikely to strengthen his squad during the January window.

In Press conference with the media on Friday prior to the game against Southampton, Mourinho said: “Honestly, I don’t think we are going to sign [anyone in January].

“If we do, I would say one player. I don’t see us going more than that.”

It remains to be seen if the Portuguese man will keep to his statement following the club’s 2-2 draw at Saint Mary’s stadium. Manchester United collapsed early on the game, and need to come from behind to secure a draw.
