Ross Barkley is believed to be adapting to life at the Bridge, in his first season after joining the club from Everton last January. Barkley struggled for form, consistency and fitness last season as he failed to make a mark on Conte’s Chelsea team prior to the axing of the Italian tactician in the summer.

The 24yr old seems to find life under new coach Maurizio Sarri, as his hardworking and most consistency in training seems to have convinced Sarri of his quality. The English player have made two league starts under the Italian tactician.

Blues attacker Victor Moses stated that Barkley has been catching the eye with his consistent impressive performance when presented with opportunities in games and in training too. When asked who the club’s best player in training was, Moses said: “Everyone has been good, everyone is working hard but I’d say Ross Barkley. “He had a big injury but he’s started the season really well and he’s working his socks off.”

Barkley will be hoping to get the starting nod when Chelsea host Bournemouth on Saturday before the international break comes.
